Restaurant Krčma u krále Brabantského

One of the oldest pubs in Prague set in the most attractive part of the “Royal Way”, directly under Prague Castle. Many myths and legends are related to this pub. Rudolf’s alchemists, the executioner Mydlář, W.A. Mozart and Jaroslav Hašek all drank here, but it was also where rogues and fraudsters drank their fill. History of the tavern contains other bloody events. A guest gained a big dept to the tavern as he was not paging his bills. One thing led to another and the innkeeper beated up this „poor guy“ and sent him into the cannals. However, hen children were playing outsider, thein ball fell into the cannals and as they tried to pull it out, they found the body of the man. Innkeeper was arrested and the tavern was closed for a few days. First and last time in its history.

This restaurant is really famous for every evening medieval evening with belly dancers, live historical music, swordsmen and big fire show.
